Group Sailings
Experience sailing a tall ship in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
From March-June and September-October, S.A.L.T.S. coordinates its programs with schools and youth groups. Our programs are designed for young people aged 13-25. Trips are typically five-days in length aboard the Pacific Swift and/or Pacific Grace. Our sailing schedule fills up very quickly, because most groups come back year after year.During the day the vessel is usually underway, with the "trainees" taking part in every aspect of life aboard: raising and lowering sails, galley work, bosun's chores, steering the ship and anchor watch at night. A snug anchorage is usually reached by late afternoon followed by a shoreside excursion in the ship's dories. Evening "mugup" is a time of singing, entertainment and classic tales of the sea followed by the traditional hot chocolate and sticky buns or freshly baked cookies. Our ships embark/disembark from the inner harbour of Victoria, BC. Group trips take in the Gulf Islands and the many marine parks.

- We will send out 2 copies of the Charter Agreement, Gear List, Sailor's Handbook and Waiver/Consent Forms.
- Mail back one complete copy of the Charter Agreement together with the required deposit (35% of total fee) to secure your reservation.
- Balance payable one week prior to boarding. (Waiver forms for every person boarding must be presented at time of boarding.)
