Central Coast & Great Bear RainforestTrip 3 Pacific Grace - Port Hardy to Haida Gwaii
Trip 4 Pacific Swift - Prince Rupert to Port Hardy
- Majestic forests and an abundance of wildlife weave themselves within the Great Bear Rainforest- a remote temperate rain forest that is home to some of this region’s most unique and diverse wildlife. After having stood at the helm and navigated a tall ship sleekly through these water ways one can better comprehend the greatness of creation.
- Remarkable vistas of uninterrupted rainforest lay on all sides only to be outdone by spotting families of grizzly bears up shallow inlets, traversed by the ships dories.
- With exploration into inlets and along the coast, this area has light exposure to the open Pacific Ocean with opportunities for exploration among the protected coves of British Columbia’s rugged west coast.

|My SALTS trip was an amazing experience full of whales, icebergs, glaciers and fresh caught salmon. I feel deeply privileged to have been able to see and encounter some of the amazing sights I did. I cannot imagine ever forgetting them.|
