Passat V is a capable and beautiful double-ended pilothouse ketch that has been a fixture on the Pacific coast throughout its history. This robust teak-planked German-built vessel has undergone several maintenance refits, as well as benefitting from the addition of modern cruising features to its classic seaworthy design. The ketch rig features Doyle sails, aluminum spars, roller-furling genoa, and stack pack sail covers/lazy jacks. Take command from either the welcoming half-round cockpit or the cozy pilothouse. The spacious interior blends warm wood tones with generous light to create an inviting and comfortable accommodation space. Power is provided by a 70hp Beta diesel engine with under 225 hours. Some of the many convenient features include: Webasto furnace, Spectra watermaker, chartplotter, radar, autopilot, refrigeration, shower, electric windlass, and much more! This is a truly unique and special vessel that could be an excellent long range-cruiser or live aboard for its next owner.
